You-in-Your-Creative-Space Challenge
June’s Creative Challenge is something close to home–your creative space–that space you seek every time you need to ignite your imagination and get the creative juices flowing. Is it a special spot at the park? Your back porch? Your art studio? The coffee shop on the corner where you do your writing?
Wherever it is, grab your camera and creatively photograph yourself in your creative space. Send your image in on RiverSpeak.net/challenge by June 21st. Entries will be displayed on our website with your brief explanation.
In a special twist, we’ll also be tallying how many submissions we get from each Spokane “hood,” as in Garland, Brown’s, West Central, etc. It’s time to represent.
Seeing artists, writers, musicians, etc. in their creative spaces allows us a brief glimpse into their personality, habits, and imagination. For some ideas on this concept, see The Selby, a great artists’ blog where these two photos were found.
