RiverLit: Call for Submissions

The first issue of Riverspeak’s new quarterly literary zine, RiverLit, hits Spokane in February. Submit your piece of literary work to be included in RiverLit’s inaugural issue! We’re accepting poetry, fiction, non-fiction, and comics from writers in and around Spokane.

WRITING

The word count limit is 2,000 words. The limit for comics is 8 pages (on 8.5×11″ paper). There is no limit to how many submissions you can send.

Please send your submissions to riverlit.zine@gmail.com in a common file format (such as .doc or .txt) by January 8th. Don’t forget to include your name with your submission.

We will notify you by January 20th if your piece is chosen.

COVER ART

We need an awesome cover design for our February issue!

Submit your artwork (in .pdf form, please) to riverlit.zine@gmail.com by 11:59 PM on January 8th. We will notify you of our choice by January 20.
